Older than time, such secrets they’ve known Gaze in awe at the stones Framing the sky, standing alone Circle of stones The witches all danced with shrieks and with moans All join hands in the stones Spiralling round, beauties and crones Circle of stones Weathered old priest, speaks from his tomes Giving praise to the stones Offers of gold, blood, flesh and bone Circle of stones Here in this place that the devil calls home Takes his place at the stones Comes in to our world from his own Circle of stones

Moon Song 04:09
The wind is crying through the trees The coven invokes thee A hymn to the great Diana goddess of the moon The cares of day departed are The night it is yours and In kinship we join with nature under the moon A moon song, dark night Magic flowing through the glade We sing your rite Secrets of the darkness A moon song, dark night In the space between two worlds We sing your rite Sacred to the goddess The circle dances round and round The tune of the pipes of The horned god who’s consort you keep echoes in the darkness The huntress she is drawing near As we sing our ode To the sister of Lucifer, the goddess of the witches A moon song, dark night Magic flowing through the glade We sing your rite Secrets of the darkness A moon song, dark night In the space between two worlds We sing your rite Sacred to the goddess

Once mighty knightly order blessed Upon the holiest of quests Good Christian soldiers fell from grace Amongst the heathens lost their faith Made idols out of human heads And ate the ashes of the dead Praised relics formed of human skin In secret they committed sin Baphomet! Spit on the cross Baphomet! We denounce God Vast fortune their great quest did bring More riches they than popes and kings And if you believe in the tales Amongst their relics kept the grail Too powerful they had become And so arrested every one And within French jails they would rot But justice they would receive not Baphomet! Spit on the cross Baphomet! We denounce God Confessions drawn from torture’s pain The sentence was to die in flame A curse upon both King and Pope The final words DeMolay Spoke Within 12 months as he had said DeMolay’s enemies were dead And though the Templars are no more It’s rumoured they may still endure Baphomet! Spit on the cross Baphomet! We denounce God

Death, reaper of souls empty, outcast, alone Spies out in the fields beauty so fair So seizing his chance takes her away with him Where sunlight can't reach and mortals wont dare Hope, while there is hope freedom she may yet find But, try maiden not the food or the wine Temptation is strong you must resist his charms One morsel you try you’re his for all time Alas she proves too weak six seeds have passed her lips But merciful death allows her to go Six months must she stay six months she’s free to go Spring, freedom above winter below

Whispers carried on the breeze The horned god was stalking through the trees The young lord was chanting ancient lore Invoking the gods that came before Speak your name again Oh great god pan Reveal dark truths to me Speak your name again Oh great god pan Show me strange mysteries Speak your name again Unlock the door In the woodlands of his god The frith where built his sacred lodge In honour of the mighty faun The piper at the gates of dawn Speak your name again Oh great god pan Reveal dark truths to me Speak your name again Oh great god pan Show me strange mysteries Seeking archaic gods The long lost ancient ones Seeking archaic gods Dark secrets at the lodge Hold his statue high "Highgates!" the pagans cried Hold the statue high And danced long through the night Io Pan! Io Pan! Pan! Pan! Io Pan! Io Pan! Io Pan! Pan! Pan! Io Pan! But the gods could not share the villagers souls And Christ usurped the horned god of old The vicar, he took the idol and laid Old pan to rest in an unmarked grave

White Stag 04:26
Portent of things that may yet be Foretold by this noble beast The white stag he roams the land From beyond the world of man In the woodlands in the glades In the morning’s misty haze You may catch a glimpse of him And your pursuit will begin Follow the hart the wondrous white stag Follow his trail but hunt the beast not He knows the path to knowledge and wisdom He is the prize but he never will be caught By the gods he has been blessed To reveal your noble quest Brings a message from beyond As you pursuit spurs you on As a hunter on his trail Know your hunt will only fail Running wild and running free He reveals your destiny Follow the hart the wondrous white stag Follow his trail but hunt the beast not He knows the path to knowledge and wisdom He is the prize but he never will be caught

Sunny Sunday morning, John decides it’s much too nice to stay inside As the church is filling, people gathering in worship for their prayers John takes up his fishing rod and bait There’ll be no church for him today He knows just where the fishing’s good So down the road he makes his way Walking straight towards him; hooded figure, hunched and wretched ancient crone Leaves him a warning, telling him no good can come from missing church Feelings of revulsion fill his soul The witch’s warning just ignored The arrogance of youth prevails And hubris grows in the young lord Though the weather’s fine the fish won’t bite The river shows no signs of life But as the church bell starts to chime John feels a tugging on his line Reeling in his catch eager for his prize His heart sinks in his chest he can’t believe his eyes An eel like creature swinging from John’s line It’s narrow snake like head smooth with holes of nine The witch returning To bring fresh warning And down the well He casts the beast So many years go by and John goes off to war Leaving his green hills for the sand Atoning for his trespasses against god’s law Crusading in the Holy lands Now free from the well Foul creature of hell Vast slithering form Save us from the worm Our cattle and sheep Our children it eats Once taken its fill It coils ‘round the hill No one has the strength or courage Keen enough of mind and cunning Many try and many fail Every time the worm prevails Each valiant attempt is foiled Dismembered body parts rejoin Appease the beast through sacrifice Can no one free us from the worm? So John returns to his home soil And what he sees makes his blood boil The harvest of the demon’s seed The product of his own misdeeds Although he’s weary from his fight John resolves to put it right No longer may this evil feast For John will slay this vicious beast No longer spurning The witch’s learning And in her wisdom Lies his solution To be victorious you must confront your fears Have faith that what you do is right You must cover your armour in the heads of spears And in the river you must fight But heed my warning Upon your glory A curse will be unleashed upon your family name For Nine generations next Unless the next life that you come across is slain They all will suffer in their deaths John prepares his armour and he tells his father I will blow my hunting horn once victory’s secured Then you’ll release my favourite hound And I’ll strike the creature down As long as it’s the first We'll avoid this evil curse The menacing foul creature slithers To do battle in the river Wraps it’s self around the young man Crushing like a giant python Each time the worm attempts to squeeze His armour cuts it and it makes it bleed Sliced flesh is falling in the river Washed downstream can’t join back together As he hears the horn John’s father’s overcome with joy Runs to meet his Son Forgetting all about the curse John cannot complete his task He wont slay his father When he kills his hound it is too late And the curse he fails to break
